Hi there, I am Betty. Happy to meet you.
Born into a family of artists, my journey in painting began at birth. My earliest memories involve a house filled with art supplies. In high school, I attended a local art school where I started learning painting systematically. One of my artworks was even collected by the local library, giving my young heart a small sense of accomplishment.
After coming to the United States, though I pursued another field of study, I never stopped loving painting. In 2010, I began teaching children's art, and in 2016, I opened my own art studio in Connecticut, Betty Art Studio. While teaching, I also took advanced courses at Yale School of Art, which gave me a new understanding of art. During this journey, I once again felt vibrant and alive.
Through art, I guide children to see, hear, smell, and feel things in a unique way. I treasure each moment spent immersed in a painting with them, filling me with happiness and immense strength. I created the "Museum Exploration" class, where we enter the stories of past artists with curiosity—experiencing emotions of inspiration, perseverance, admiration, and regret. These stories stir the children's emotions, allowing them to portray the masters within them on paper.
At the same time, I also focus on art therapy, helping people escape life's troubles by immersing themselves fully in the present through art. They use colors to express their emotions, freely splashing them, releasing their innermost feelings. Art reaches deep into the human spirit, and in those moments, you see your truest self.
Life is tough, but I find joy in it. I enjoy cooking, especially sharing meals with close friends. I love traveling with my family and meeting new people. I have a wonderful family, with three lovely children who always support me in doing what I love. They help me a lot, and I am incredibly grateful for everything I have and never take it for granted.
I always share my smiles and joy with others. I love to laugh, though I also have moments when I want to be left alone and recharge. I enjoy capturing every memorable moment in life. I believe in the positive energy of people. I am honest and straightforward. My friends would say I organize things well—I hope this doesn't come off as domineering, as I simply wish to avoid unexpected chaos.
This is who I am.
I'm happy you’ve stayed to learn about me. If you're willing, we can have a deeper conversation, grow together, and share love.
